Who do you turn to when you want to talk to someone in Landcare about organising action, collaborating and influencing decision makers?

You'll turn to people you think will be able to listen to you and tune in to your situation. And you'll think of people who know other people, who might help you find the right person to talk to.

To make the most of those conversations, work out what your question is, and map out who you could talk with.

The VLC's CLEA project has developed step by step guides to support you when you want to call on your peers to talk about the challenges of leading you local group or Network, or being a facilitator.  At the CLEA website at https://sites.google.com/site/landcareplanning/resources under “CLEA Tools”, you'll find:

  • Finding Your Personal Questions Without an Easy Answer
  • What is a Question Without Easy Answers
  • Ask Around

You'll also find guidelines on deciding with your committee of management what your Question Without an Easy Answer is for your group or Network:

  • Finding your Network Question
  • Finding your Network Question Facilitators Notes.

When you get into talking with your support person, one thing that will help is to reflect on critical moments related to your Question. Have a look at

  • Reflecting on Critical Moments.

For the questions that Landcare Networks around the State are already asking, go to https://sites.google.com/site/landcareplanning/home/questions and look at the file
